an interesting addition to the server. Sadly, I'm not an engineer yet, so I'll have to ask: are the size dimensions for these realms comparable to the typical worlds that already exist in Au70, or are they smaller? I simply have bad memories of being stuck trying to build in a 75x75 'realm' on another server, is all.
The one problem I have with realms is that they promote isolated building. One of the great things about AU70 is that you can almost always find something decent on guest1 - it draws the interest of new players, and inspires people who are just passing by to wherever they usually build. The risk I see with so many people having their own private worlds to build on, (btw, what if you *want* people to be able to help out?) is that, while it promotes some good quality builds, these builds almost never see the light of public attention.
I like the concept, but I think it needs to be balanced with some way to bring these creations back into the spotlight in guest1, which really is our welcome-mat to players both new and old, not just a sandbox for griefers, towers and fledgling guests.
So often now, I see guest1 get wiped, erasing any sign that there even *is* a community of skilled builders. There used to be many recognizable, zoned builds around the spawn, and I'd just like to see that sort of thing return, rather than waking up with a blank, multi-tiered build platform every time the world clears.

Yeah, I do miss having the permanent builds that came with wiping the old guest map. But you have to admit that 95% of what gets made in guest1 is complete trash. I think you exaggerate how many skilled builders we have. I rarely see anything of quality. It's mostly little houses, creepers and spongebobs. Thrilexz's little sprite corner should have been saved, that was a bright example.
If 5% of builds are good, than 5% is worth saving in the guest world. Otherwise this server is merely an eraseable freebuild. I agree with Joe, it's better to have creative builds and landmarks that define the server, than an empty slate every time a wipe comes around.
I think that if that block-realm-transport idea pans out, it could help.
Joe, The picture I made for this is old, I need to update it.
I changed Au70 Realms so it makes your world Owner+, and you can allow others to help you build by using /realm allow UserName. I made it like this to stop griefers. One of the problems any minecraft server have, is grief from ranks Adv+. Quite recently someone /z air'd all of the Adv3 world, and there for nothing left in the world at all, not even grass. Everyone's hard work on that map is gone forever.
I like the idea that anyone Probuilder+ can place all their best work on their own map, which is secure from people they have not allowed to build in their map. Plus with /realm review, players can use their realms to get ranked higher.
As always with builds, you can make them in a different world and then /copy and /paste to guest for people to look at them. I've always done it this way.
Anybody who wants to build on guest and wants their work to not be removed should copy and paste it to another world.
Just one thing though, could you make it so you can un-allow someone from building? Because I allowed my friend so he could build a house, and now I would like to make it so he cant change it, but I can.
Ok im all confused, what happened to au70?.....People say the server is down all teh time and I can't see if i can get on cuz the main screen for multiplayer servers was like, sorted out and its super slow for me. :/
